Preparing Your Device for Return

1. Clean the Device:

  • Before packing, ensure your device is clean. Wipe down the surface with a soft, dry cloth to remove any fingerprints or dust.

2. Gather Original Packaging:

  • To ensure maximum protection, place the device back into its original packaging. This includes the box, any protective inserts, padding, or wraps that came with it.

3. Include All Accessories:

  • Make sure to include all accessories that were sent with the device, such as chargers, cables, cases, and any other additional items. This helps the next user to receive a fully equipped device, just as you did.

Packing the Device

1. Secure the Device Inside the Original Box:

  • If the device came with any plastic wraps or foam inserts, use these to secure the device inside the box. They are designed to fit your device and provide the best protection against bumps and shakes during transport.

2. Seal the Box:

  • Once the device and all accessories are securely placed inside, close the box and seal it with strong packing tape. Ensure all openings are sealed to prevent the box from opening during transit.

3. Label the Package:

  • Attach any return labels provided by rentA to the outside of the box. Make sure the label is visible and clear. If you have been provided with a return shipping label, ensure it covers any previous labels to avoid confusion during shipping.

Tips for a Smooth Return

1. Double-Check Before Sending:

  • Before sealing the package, double-check to make sure that you have included all components and that the device is secured. This will prevent delays in processing your return.

2. Take Photos:

  • It's a good idea to take photos of the device and how you’ve packed it before sealing the box. This can serve as proof of the condition in which you sent it back, should any disputes arise.
